Education & Qualifications
I served as the Executive Director of the San Geronimo Valley Community Center from 1991 to 2023 and as Community Ambassador from 2023 to 2026 where I participated in a successful leadership transition to the next generation.
I attended Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois and graduated with a degree in Human Development and Social Policy. I continued my studies at Sonoma State University in the graduate school of counseling and education while working as a counselor in the juvenile justice system.
This path has led me to a candidacy for School Board Trustee.
I will be focused on the present and the future and will bring tremendous experience in supporting our students, parents, staff, and community members in the healthiest, most inclusive ways possible.
I love the San Geronimo Valley and the Lagunitas Community School. From the day my wife “Howie” and I arrived here in 1978 we have been enmeshed in this wonderful community.
Our adult children Daley and Sadie attended Prechool in our Valley and the Lagunitas School through eighth grade and our grandson who is six is now in first grade at Lagunitas Community School and our three year old granddaughter attends Preschool in the Valley.
